Unidentified Agaricales specimen

Description

Unidentified lamellar mushroom, likely a Galerina or Tubaria, from November 2025. It was growing alone in a corner with many Douglas firs on a completely moss-covered, unidentified tree stump, and I could not find any other similar specimens. Found in the northern part of Bienwald near Jockgrim (Southern Palatinate). Cap diameter approx. 4–5 cm, color rust-brown, height 7–8 cm, stem with a slightly fibrous pattern, odor was normal/mushroomy.

NOTE: This image is a focus stacked image consisting of 4 images that were merged using Helicon Focus 8.3.7. As a result, this image underwent digital manipulation which may have included blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different than reality at the points where the images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
